B Corp Certification

B Corp Certification is an international certification that recognizes companies that meet high social and environmental performance standards, public transparency, and legal accountability.

The certification covers five major areas:

1. Governance
2. Workers
3. Community
4. Environment
5. Customers.

B Corps must demonstrate that their operations and business models are designed to create a positive impact and they are also legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on all of their stakeholders, not just shareholders.

Even if a company does not qualify for B Corp Certification, completing the assessment can still be valuable. It can help companies to become more transparent about their social and environmental impact, and it can also help them to attract and retain customers and employees who are looking for businesses that are committed to making a positive impact.

B Corps are certified as either "certified" or "recertified". To become certified, a company must score at least 80 out of 200 points on B Lab's B Impact Assessment (BIA).
