WindMade is a consumer label identifying products and companies using wind energy. WindMade™ is dedicated to increasing corporate investments in wind power by informing consumers about companies’ use of wind energy, and increasing demand for products that embrace this clean and renewable energy source. The label, which is backed by the UN Global Compact and conservation group WWF, requires participating companies to obtain at least 25% of their electricity from wind power and the wind energy must be generated from a wind farm that meets the WWEA's sustainability criteria. The company must also be transparent about its use of wind energy and must be able to provide documentation to support its claims. Companies that achieve WindMade certification are eligible to use the WindMade logo on their products and marketing materials.
