SÃO PAULO — [October 9th, 2025]
Tese.io has been named one of the winners of the LIFT Data Challenge 2025, the flagship innovation program of the Central Bank of Brazil and FENASBAC promoting technology for sustainable finance.
Its prototype 'Transforming Data into Capital for Sustainable Impact' builds the digital infrastructure that enables agricultural SMEs to turn verified climate action into finance-ready adaptation plans aligned with national policy and global ESG standards.
At the core of the platform is an AI-powered Climate Adaptation Plan (CAP) engine that guides enterprises through an ISO 14090-aligned process to generate credible, verifiable climate plans without consultants or proprietary software. Using national datasets such as SEEG, EMBRAPA, and IBGE, the tool estimates Scope 1 GHG emissions through a deviation-based model referencing more than 330 documented adaptation activities, making standardised, verifiable planning possible even in data-scarce SME contexts.
A companion CAP-to-Finance Matchmaking Engine then links those adaptation plans with investors and financial institutions.
It scores each opportunity by strategy type, geography, investment size, IRIS+ metrics, SDG alignment, and data quality — converting every CAP into a live, finance-ready investment profile within the Tese.io platform.
To demonstrate real-world application, the team produced a model CAP for Fazenda Califórnia, a regenerative coffee farm in Paraná, using public data and standardised assumptions.
The exercise confirmed the platform’s ability to deliver credible, policy-aligned adaptation plans ready for review by banks and climate-finance programmes.
Fully interoperable with Brazil’s ABC+ Low-Carbon Agriculture Plan and global disclosure frameworks including SASB FB-AG, IFRS S2, and TCFD, the solution bridges the long-standing gap between on-farm adaptation and institutional capital.
“There’s already more sustainability data than anyone can use,” said Kuzi Charamba, CEO of Tese.io. “Our work at Tese.io is about turning that noise into action, helping financial institutions and SMEs make data usable, financeable, and resilient in the face of climate change.”
By combining emissions modelling, adaptation planning, and investor matchmaking in one AI-enabled workflow, Tese.io shows how verified data can move capital, not paperwork.
The project will be showcased at COP 30 in Belém, positioning Brazil as a global reference point for scalable, data-driven climate finance that strengthens both adaptation and resilience.
