About me

Meg is a passionate business leader in the sustainability field, focused on supporting organizations better manage their environmental, social and governance business risks and opportunities. Her 26 year career spans roles in South East Asia, Australia, Russia, The Netherlands and Italy. Meg first joined ERM in 2001 and became a Partner in 2009, pursuing Business Management and Leadership oriented roles to advance ERM's growth alongside the development of careers for her colleagues.

Meg relocated from Australia to South East Asia in January 2019 and had roles including Country Manager for Vietnam, South & East Asia Lead for Capital Project Delivery (India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam), Country Manager for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. She was previously the Office Managing Partner for the Perth (Australia) office. In all of these roles, Meg's responsibilities are focused on business management (growth, profitability, and client service excellence). In mid-2024 Meg moved back to Sydney to focus her career on contributing to the energy transition in Australia.

Meg's more technical roles include various project roles associated with the scoping and development of large environmental & social impact assessments, regulatory approvals processes, and environmental management of both onshore and offshore capital investment projects. Meg has led environmental and social due diligences projects, as well as audits and management system and plan implementations.

Meg joined ERM in 2001 after having started her career in Australia with AGL in 1997 as an environmental engineer with environmental approval and compliance responsibilities for new cross country gas pipelines. Meg's first 4 years with ERM (2001 - 2004) were spent primarily based in the Netherlands, with extensive travel into Russia and Italy in her capacity as an Environmental Advisor for Shell's Sakhalin Energy development in the Russian far east. Meg returned to Australia in 2005 to help develop the technical depth and market profile of the ERM Perth impact assessment and planning practice.

Meg is one of ERM's Energy and Renewables Sector leads in the APAC region.
